A week after dismantling Howard 79-0, the Maryland Terrapins are showing that win was no fluke, as example of the first half against No. 21 Syracuse.

Maryland scored touchdowns in six of their seven offensive drives to jump all over the Orange 42-13 at halftime.

Maryland quarterback Josh Jackson completed 17-of-28 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, running back Anthony McFarland Jr. scored three touchdowns, including a receiving score.

Maryland has outscored their opponents 121-13 through the first six quarters of the season. Their 98 first-half points in their first two games is the most in back-to-back first halves in school history.

If the Terrapins’ lead holds up, they are sure to get notice around the country with their explosive offense instructed by new head coach Mike Locksley, the former Alabama offensive coordinator.
