A lack of pass rush may not be the only reason the Washington Redskins signed pass rusher Noah Spence. Cassanova McKinzy had an MRI on his hip, according to NBC Sports Washington’s JP Finlay.
McKinzy played 11 snaps in Sunday’s loss against the Dallas Cowboys. It appears his limited snaps was due to his limited availability.
He did not practice Wednesday, and the team is waiting results to see his status going into Week 3’s matchup against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.
McKinzy has one sack thus far in the season. He started the season in the concussion protocol but was cleared in time for Week 1’s game against Philadelphia.
Washington does not have to reveal an injury report Wednesday due to their game being on Monday night. We’ll just have to wait and see what McKinzy is actually dealing with if anything.
