Not much has gone right in the 2019 season for the Washington Redskins. One bright spot has been rookie wide receiver Terry McLaurin. The Ohio State product entered Week 3 leading the team in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
He added to his lead with his third receiving touchdown, snagging a strike from quarterback Case Keenum. McLaurin now has scored a touchdown in all three games of his NFL career.
McLaurin was drafted to upgrade the Redskins special teams. Instead, he wowed the coaching staff in training camp, earning a starting spot at wide receiver. Now, he is flourishing as the Redskins lead receiver.
With the season not getting off to a great start, at the very least the Redskins understand they have a stud at receiver and for the future.
