Add Pierre Garcon to the growing list that feels the Redskins need a change. Following their 24-3 loss to the New York Giants, the former Washington Redskins wide receiver tweeted simply: “Just pull the plug lol.”

Going into Sunday’s game the Washington Post reported that a loss could lead to the firing of head coach Jay Gruden. Although NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Sunday morning Gruden was safe.

But, the Redskins had yet another blowout loss. This time to the Giants, who were expected to struggle this season. Rookie QB Daniel Jones threw a touchdown, and Giants defense halted the Redskins offense despite four turnovers.

Redskins QB Case Keenum was benched in the second quarter, in large due to a foot injury leading to a poor start. Gruden turned to rookie Dwayne Haskins in Keenum’s place. Haskins struggled, throwing three interceptions, including a pick-six by safety Jabrill Peppers.

After the game Gruden sounded defeated saying, “My playcalling isn’t good enough.”

Garcon wonders if it’s too early to look for potential replacements of Gruden.

It remains to be seen if Gruden will be fired midseason after a second straight embarrassing loss. The Redskins are 0-4 for the first time since 2011. They’re searching for answers that may not be answered this season.

Garcon, like many other Redskins’ supporters, is ready those answers to start with a new head coach.
