WATCH: Alex Bregman Uncorks Two-Run HR off Stephen Strasburg to Tie Game 2

The Houston Astros answered back with a two-run first of their own. Thanks in large to Alex Bregman, who uncorked a two-run blast off Washington Nationals starter Stephen Strasburg to tie Game 2 of the World Series at 2-2.

The Astros got two extra-base hits off Strasburg in their first frame. Jose Altuve hit a one-out double, but he was caught trying to steal third by Nationals catcher Kurt Suzuki.

But, Michael Brantley delivered a two-out single, allowing Bregman to come to the plate. Bregman got on top of a change-up off Strasburg. He knew it was gone right away.

That's actually the 5th homer Strasburg has allowed on a changeup this season, matching his total from the last 4 seasons combined. Opponents still only hit .140 off that pitch this year, the few hits they've had have been big.

Bregman had been hard on himself for his struggles at the plate.
