As the Washington Redskins are in a close battle, they made want to rethink cornerback Fabian Moreau matched against Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
In the second quarter, Diggs picked up a huge 34-yard gain on a find from Kirk Cousins. Diggs was wide open because he completely turned around Moreau off the line of scrimmage with a beautiful move.
Moreau got shook on an earlier target for Diggs that was a huge 32-yard pickup, except Diggs had the ball knocked away for a fumble that turned the ball over on Minnesota’s opening drive.
As the Redskins try to hang with the favored Vikings either Moreau needs to improve sticking with Diggs or defensive coordinator Greg Manusky may have to make an adjustment. That may be much harder as Quinton Dunbar is questionable to return to the game with a hamstring injury he suffered in the second quarter.
