It appears the Redskins changed their minds after all about Josh Norman, as the veteran cornerback will be active Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
Earlier Sunday multiple reports, including Adam Schefter, stated Norman was set to be a healthy scratch for Week 12 as the team evaluates their younger cornerbacks. However, it appears at the eleventh hour they are doing an about-face and playing Norman.
According to Craig Hoffman of 106.7 the Fan, Norman is still dealing with injuries and not necessary was a healthy scratch. But he will suit up against the Lions in emergency relief in case of any injuries.
Norman’s reported benching came on the heels of him being benched in the second half of last week’s loss to the New York Jets.
With his addition back in the active roster, there will be all eyes on how the final weeks of the season play out with Josh Norman, healthy or not.
