The Washington Wizards announced Thomas Bryant has arrived to Walt Disney in Orlando for the NBA restart.
Bryant did not travel with the Wizards last week to Orlando after testing positive for COVID-19. Teammate Gary Payton II also tested positive for COVID-19. Bryant’s arrival indicates he has been cleared of COVID-19 and cleared to play.
Bryant will have to go through a quarantine period before he can rejoin his teammates and coaching staff.
His arrival is boost as far as on the court for Washington. The Wizards already will be without leading scorer Bradley Beal and second-leading scorer Davis Bertans. Beal won’t be playing during the NBA rester due to a shoulder injury. Bertans opted not to play in the restart.
Bryant provides the Wizards an inside threat. He averaged 12.1 points and a team-leading 6.8 rebounds in 38 games this season.
