Dr. Anthony Fauci welcomed in the start of the 2020 MLB season throwing the ceremonial first pitch at Nationals Park Thursday before the Nationals hosted the New York Yankees. Fauci left a lot to desire, bouncing his pitch on the outside.
Nationals closer Sean Doolittle was picked to catch Fauci’s first pitch. Unfortunately, Doolittle didn’t have a chance ate corralling the pitch.
Fauci channeled his inner Ricky Vaughn from Major League.
It was also reminiscent of viral wild pitch of rapper 50 Cent in 2014. At least Fauci avoided the in-person embarrassment 50 did with no fans in the stands.
