James Harden appeared to draw the line about the Houston Rockets, ripping the team’s chemistry and talent. Harden said the Rockets were “just not good enough” while adding he doesn’t see the Rockets being fixed.
Shortly afterwards, Rockets teammate John Wall admitted his chemistry with Harden is “rocky.”
Wall was traded from the Washington Wizards to the Rockets last month along with a heavily-protected first round pick for Russell Westbrook. The trade was viewed a last ditch effort to appease the disgruntled Harden.
However, Harden has maintained his frustration and demands to be traded. His actions have spoken towards wanting out of Houston. He arrived late to training camp, instead choosing to party in Las Vegas. He also reported to the team out of shape.
It’s been a work in progress for Wall and Harden to jell. As a result, the Rockets have a 3-6 record following their 117-100 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday night.
Still, the Rockets have some big names surrounding Harden with Wall, Christian Wood and DeMarcus Cousins. Wall elaborated the potential is there, if Harden buys in.
Despite the plea from Wall, Harden has seemingly had enough with the entire situation with the Rockets. While reports say no trade is imminent, it’s appears trading Harden is inevitable.
