The reaction of Bradley Beal went viral following yet another loss for the Washington Wizards. As his former teammate, John Wall, celebrated with his new teammates on the Houston Rockets, Beal appeared sulked in frustration.
Cameras caught the Wizards star seething with his hands pressed to his face. The scene brought on a multitude of takes.
The 107-88 loss to Wall and the Rockets drops the Wizards to a 3-10 record this season. This year was supposed to be different than the previous two, especially after trading Wall for Russell Westbrook. However, the pairing of Beal and Westbrook has not been enough to propel Washington back into contention.
It’s only 13 games, but it’s apparent Washington is trending towards a third straight losing season with Beal as the lead player. That’s despite Beal leading the NBA in scoring this season.
Could losing to his former running mate in Wall by 19 points the tipping point for Bradley Beal? He’s under contract through at least another season. But, the more the Wizards struggle, the more questions and doubts about his future in Washington will increase.
