Juwan Howard had an early shower after the Michigan men’s basketball head coach was ejected in the second half of Friday’s Big Ten Conference Tournament quarterfinals. Howard got into a heated exchange with Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon.

Even after the officials stepped in, Howard was trying to get after Turgeon.
Michigan assistant and longtime St. Joseph’s head coach Phil Martelli stepped in following the ejection.
The incident was perplexing, considering Michigan had a 10-point lead at 57-47 with 11:10 remaining in the game. The top-seeded Wolverines held their composure after Howard’s ejection to hang on to a 79-66 win over Maryland to advance.
