The Washington Mystics appear to be getting a new look for the upcoming 2021 season. Photos surfaced of their new jerseys which were located on the sales racks of Dicks Sporting Goods.
The changes appear to be “Washington” is replacing the Geico advertising across the chest plate for the jerseys they wore last season. Also the “DC” logo is gone from the middle, with the player’s number replacing it. The AT&T advertising is now on the back of the jersey underneath player’s name.
The side stripes are now block and white in block format. Also it’s unclear presently what the star is above the chest plate is referencing.
Additionally, the Mystics have a “Rebel Edition” jersey that features a chest plate saying “RISE”
Other photos of new jerseys across the WNBA have surfaced at local Dicks Sporting Goods stores.
It’s unclear when Nike or the WNBA will make an official announcement on the new set of jerseys.
