Former Washington Football Team running back and free agent Derrius Guice has been suspended six games for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
His suspension stems from an August 2020 arrest in Loudoun County, Virginia on domestic violence charges. Guice allegedly pushed his then-girlfriend to the ground on three different occasions. He was also accused of strangulation.
The Washington Football Team released Guice within hours following his arrest. Charges were ultimately dropped this year after he reached an undisclosed settlement with the woman.
Additionally, two women have accused Guice of sexual assault while he was a freshman at LSU. A third female student alleges, Guice took partially nude pictures of her in 2016 without her permission.
Following the rape accusations and sexual misconduct, a 74-year old woman accused Guice of sexual harassment from a 2017 incident at the Superdome in New Orleans.
In April, LSU dissociated itself from Guice, banning him from the university indefinitely. The school also removed him from the program’s record books.
