Washington Football Team defensive lineman Matt Ioannidis is questionable for Sunday’s Week 3 game at the Buffalo Bills with a knee injury.
Washington did not hold a practice Friday, but Iaonnidis was listed as “did not participate,” as he wouldn’t have been able to go. He was injured in the first half of last week’s Thursday night game against the New York Giants. However, after being attended to on the sidelines, he returned to the game.
He played 43 defensive snaps against the Giants despite being nicked.
Washington head coach Ron Rivera said Ioannidis’ knee “tightened up” during the week, according to The Athletics’s Ben Standig.
If Matt Ioannidis is unable to go, look for Tim Settle to get an increase in snaps in his replacement.
