There’s an upset brewing in Landover, Maryland, as the Washington Football Team has taken advantage of two first quarter interceptions by Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady.
Brady started out the game 2-of-6 passing for five yards and two interceptions. The Buccaneers also had a three-and-out on their first drive.
His first pick went threw the hands of wide receiver Jaelon Darden right into a waiting William Jackson.
Washington’s offense was held to a field goal, extending their lead to 6-0.
But Brady gifted the Washington Football Team defense another interception. He threw the ball directly to safety Bobby McCain.
It was one of the worse interceptions you’ll see from the greatest quarterback of all-time.
The Washington Football Team has added their “W” logo to the 50-yard line.
Unlike the first two chances, Washington took full advantage. Quarterback Taylor Heinicke threw a dime to wide receiver DeAndre Carter to put Washington up 13-0.
The 13-point lead is Washington’s largest of the season.
They’re looking to snap a four-game losing streak. There’s no better way than beating the defending Super Bowl champions.
