New York Giants head coach Joe Judge went on an 11-minute rant following their 29-3 loss to the Chicago Bears. The Giants have now lost five straight games, dropping to a 4-12 record heading into their regular season finale in Week 18 against the Washington Football Team.
Judge claimed former Giants players who left last offseason wish they were back with New York. And that Giants players set for free agency are begging to return.
He also made a comment that could easily be interrupted as a shot thrown at the Washington Football Team.
“This ain’t a team that’s having fistfights on the sidelines,” Judge proclaimed. “This ain’t some clown show organization or something else.”
Last week, Washington defensive tackles Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne got into a heated exchange on the sidelines that led to Allen throwing a punch at Payne.
Washington also has had a lot of well-documented off-the-fied drama hovering over the organization, including a league investigation into sexual misconduct and harassment.
Washington (6-10) was eliminated from playoff contention with their fourth straight loss Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
It will be interesting to see the perspective of Washington’s head coach Ron Rivera on Judge’s comments. How will he respond? We at least know Washington will have their own sideline benches transported to the Giants’ MetLife Stadium for their Week 18 game on Sunday.
