To add to another dominant recruiting class, Ohio State University receives the commitment from four-star interior offensive lineman Jayvon McFadden from Riverdale Baptist School. McFadden is the 53rd-ranked interior offensive lineman in the class of 2025 and the 11th overall player in Maryland, per 247sports.com.
Ohio State is ranked first in the 2025 recruitment class. McFadden is the Buckeyes’ 17th commitment from a four-star prospect.
The Buckeyes offered McFadden after his junior year campaign in November of 2023. Thursday, he announced on an Instagram post he would make the big decision on the same day as Riverdale Baptist’s home opener against Conwell-Egan Catholic. Three hours before the game, he announced his commitment.
Riverdale Baptist pummeled Conwell-Egan 56-3.
McFadden chose Ohio State over his hometown school, Maryland. South Carolina and Colorado were also among the final schools he considered.
The star lineman expects to have another dominant year at Riverdale Baptist. Meanwhile, the Buckeyes add more depth to an amazing recruiting class.
