Commanders score for 15th straight drive with Brian Robinson TD

The Washington Commanders offense just scores. After the Arizona Cardinals scored a touchdown on the game’s opening drive, the Commanders answered with a touchdown of their own. Washington’s running back Brian Robinson Jr. knifed through the Cardinals defense for six-yard touchdown.

The score was the 15th straight scoring drive for the Commanders, excluding kneel downs at the end of halves and games.

Washington hasn’t punted in two games. Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has been sensational through his first three games, yet, to turn over the football.

However, the drive belonged to Robinson. The Alabama product already has 45 yards on seven carries with 17 yards for his longest carry. Robinson also got a direct snap in a wildcat formation.

The score was Robinson’s third of the season with all three of his touchdowns coming on the road. He’s becoming a road warrior. Washington tied the score and already is back on offense. Arizona is looking to do something neither the Cincinnati Bengals nor New York Giants have done, kept the Commanders offense from scoring on a possession.
