Washington Football Team releases G Jeremy Vujnovich, WR Emanuel Hall

The Washington Football Team has released guard Jeremy Vujnovich and waived wide receiver Emanuel Hall with a non-football injury destination. The team announced the roster moves Sunday.

NFL teams have to trim their roster down to 80 players ahead of training camp. The releases of Vujnovich and Hall cuts Washington’s roster down to 84 players.

Vujnovich’s time in Washington ends before it actually started. Vujnovich signed with the Washington Football Team in March with hopes of competing to add to their depth at guard. However, Washington added Wes Schweitzer and Michael Liedtke in the offseason as well. Schweitzer is expected to compete with Wes Martin to start at left guard. Pro Bowler, Brandon Scherff is slotted at right guard.

Vujnovich, who went undrafted in 2013, has appeared in 23 games throughout his career with Green Bay, Indianapolis and Arizona.

Hall, who went undrafted in 2019 out of Missouri, joined Washington’s practice squad in December. He signed a reserve/future contract after last season. Unfortunately, he tore his Achilles in June while training for the upcoming season.
