As part of its partnership with the NBA, New Era is releasing a “City Series” cap to go along with the NBA and Nike’s City Edition uniforms. Ambassador John Wall modeled the Washington Wizards’ cap ahead of the series release.

The Wizards cap features their ‘City’ logo embroidered across the front panel which resembles the flag of the District of Columbia. The Wizards alternate logo is embroidered on the right side of the cap. The NBA logo appears on the rear while the Wizards’ D.C. logo is in the inner lining of the front of the cap.

The cap(s) is available on neweracap.com. The fitted version is retailed at $35.00 Meanwhile the 9Twenty adjustable version is retailed at $24.00.

Earlier this week, the Wizards’ City jersey was inadvertently leaked via NBA 2K video game. The game makers eagerly jumped the gun, uploading all 30 teams’ City uniforms for users to pick on the video game. They were pulled as the mistake was discovered. Still, a glimpse of them was captured.

Teams have slowly revealed their City jerseys, including the Philadelphia 76ers and Oklahoma City Thunder. The Wizards are set to officially reveal theirs later December. The team has already announced the jerseys are slated to debut at home on Dec. 23 against the Orlando Magic. They will wear their fourth uniform of their collection for two more straight home games Dec. 29 against Houston and Dec. 31 against Chicago.
