If there were any doubts to the report John Wall is headed back to an endorsement deal with adidas, Sunday may give more proof. Wall hit the floor with his Washington Wizards against the Chicago Bulls in a pair of adidas Crazy BYW X.
This is the second game Wall has worn adidas since the four-time All-Star left the brand in 2015. He wore his first signature shoe, J Wall 1’s the previous game on Friday against the Houston Rockets.
Wall left adidas after negotiations on a new deal hit a snag. It was reported Wall had gripes about the $7.5 million per season offer adidas made after they signed then-sneaker free agent James Harden to a 13-year deal for $200 million.
Wall wore various brands the past two seasons, mostly Nike, as he sat in sneaker purgatory. He also fired his agent before hiring the famed Rich Paul, who is also the longtime friend and agent of LeBron James.
Since joining Paul, Wall has landed an endorsement with New Era, received a super max deal with the Wizards worth over $200 million, and a pending deal with adidas.
