The Washington Football Team is aware of social media posts allegedly showing quarterback Dwayne Haskins partying with strippers without a mask following Sunday’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks, according to Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post. Washington contacted the NFL Monday for a potential violation of the league’s COVID-19 protocols and is handling the situation internally.
Haskins started Sunday’s game in place of an injured Alex Smith. He completed 38-of-55 passes for 295 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Washington dug a 20-3 deficit in the third quarter. However, they rallied to cut into the deficit with two fourth quarter touchdowns before falling short 20-15.
Haskins was fined by the team earlier this season for violating COVID-19 protocols. He booked a room for a family friend at the team hotel in New Jersey ahead of Washington’s Week 6 game at the New York Giants.
