John Wall is pulling out all the stops against his former team. Playing against the Washington Wizards for the first time since being traded to the Houston Rockets, Wall had a string of highlight plays in the first half.
None more jaw-dropping than his vintage behind-the-back move to beat Wizards guard Raul Neto for the left-hand layup.
Wall’s reaction says it all. The Wizards’ former franchise player dropped 15 points to help the Rockets build a 56-52 lead. His former backcourt mate, Bradley Beal countered with 15 points of his own.
Surely there is a lot of emotion for both Wall and his former teammates.
