The Washington Football Team continues to add to their tight end room by officially signing journeyman Ricky Seals-Jones on Tuesday.
Jones has played four seasons between the Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns and most recently the Kansas City Chiefs.
He has proven to be a good depth tight end. He has 60 catches for 773 yards in 41 career games. His best campaign in that area came in 2018 with the Cardinals in which he caught 34 passes for 343 yards.
Seals-Jones also has eight career touchdown catches with the most coming in 2019 with Cleveland with four.
Seals-Jones becomes the second former Kansas City Chiefs tight end Washington has added this offseason along with Deon Yelder.
Now he will join a tight end room that features last year’s breakout Logan Thomas, as well as rookie John Bates and basketball player-turned-tight end project Sammis Reyes.
