Washington Football Team fan was not having it with Gerald Everett trying to leap into stands

Gerald Everett was excited about scoring his first touchdown since Week 1. The Seattle Seahawks tight end hauled in a tight window throw from quarterback Russell Wilson against the Washington Football Team.

Everett tried to jump over the wall into the stands. Except, may have forgotten he was just outside of Washington, DC not in Seattle, Washington. Just as he leaped up in the air, he was pushed away by a Washington Football Team fan.

The fan was sporting the jersey of Washington’s first-round rookie linebacker Jamin Davis.

Everett’s score gave the Seahawks the early 7-3 lead in the first quarter. It was set up by a 55-yard connection between Wilson and wide receiver Tyler Lockett.

You could argue the fan’s shove on Everett was the best defensive play of the night by anyone in a Washington uniform.
