WFT-Eagles game moved to Tuesday following Washington’s COVID-19 outbreak

Sunday’s game between the Washington Football Team and the Philadelphia eagles has been postponed to Tuesday night, according to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7PM ET.

The NFL and NFL Players’ Association went into discussions to postpone three games slated for this weekend after COVID-19 outbreaks.

Saturday’s game between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Cleveland Browns was postponed to Monday night. The Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams game was also postponed to Tuesday.

Washington has 22 players currently on the reserve/COVID-19 list, including both of their top-two quarterbacks. Kyle Allen went on the list earlier this week. Starter Taylor Heinicke was added officially on Friday.

Washington signed quarterbacks Garrett Gilbert Friday and Jordan Ta’mu earlier this week as replacements.

The Cleveland Browns are in the same situation with both of their top-two quarterbacks, Baker Mayfield and Case Keenum, on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The Browns have a total 19 players currently on the list.

The Rams are up to 25 players currently on the COVID-19 list.
