Commanders rule out Jahan Dotson, list Logan Thomas as questionable vs. Titans

The Washington Commanders added tight end Logan Thomas to the injury report Friday. Thomas is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans. He did not practice Friday due to a calf injury.

The Commanders also ruled out four players, including rookie wide receiver Jahan Dotson. Dotson is dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered in the fourth quarter in Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys. Commanders head coach Ron Rivera said previously this week, Dotson could miss one-to-two weeks.

Washington will also be without right tackle Sam Cosmi (thumb), rookie safety Percy Butler (quad), and rookie linebacker Milo Eifler (hamstring). Veteran linebacker David Mayo (hamstring) is listed as questionable.

Cosmi underwent thumb surgery on Tuesday. The second-year offensive lineman is expected to miss multiple games. Cornelius Lucas will start at right tackle in place of Cosmi.

The Commanders received some good news surrounding wide receiver Curtis Samuel’s status for Sunday. Samuel returned to practice Friday after missing practice the previous two days with an illness. He’s expected to play against Tennessee.
