The tryouts are a custom of the G-League as they fill up their rosters. Up to five players may earn an invitation to the team’s training camp in October. Registration opened on Tuesday and will close next week on Sept. 12.

Keep in mind, there is a $150 fee to tryout. Those who try out will receive a Go-Go jersey and a ticket to one home game of the Go-Go in their inaugural season.

This is a great opportunity for some local talent to get the opportunity to go through professional drills in from of Capital city scouts. Anyone who believes they have talent to take step in their basketball development should apply.

The Go-Go will play its first season in the G-League starting Nov. 3 when they host the Greensboro Swarm at Saint Elizabeths East Sports and Entertainment Arena.
