Washington Football Team picks perfect way to announce they won’t wear all-white Sunday

The Washington Football Team will wear white jerseys Sunday when they take on the Arizona Cardinals. However, they won’t be wearing white pants for the widely popular all-white look.

Fans have long clamored for Washington to bring back their all-white uniforms. The team donned the look during what’s deemed the Sean Taylor era from 2005 through 2007. But the look has been shelved since.

Knowing the pulse of their fans, the Washington Football Team picked a perfect way to announce the disappointing news.

Hope for the all-white combination returning has increased with its biggest opponent, former team president Bruce Allen, no longer with the organization. Washington has a new regime and culture that’s appeared to be more in tuned with its fans of late.

Defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio gave his approval for the look prior to the season. So while the all-white look won’t return this Sunday, maybe Washington fans will eventually get what they want.
