Watch: Rui Hachimura drops beautiful behind-the-back dime

Rui Hachimura has been impressive in his first game of the 2020-21 season. Hachimura drained two early threes, and gave the Washington Wizards another level of energy through his fresh legs in the first half against the Chicago Bulls.

However, his biggest highlight in his season debut came off a beautiful behind-the-back dime to Thomas Bryant from the block.

That type of pass doesn’t usually come from a player not known for his ball movement. Yet, Hachimura made the pass with same confidence as a Russell Westbrook would.

Hachimura missed the first four games of the season and was expected to be out three weeks with an eye infection. He was able to get back much earlier and is already making an impact. Through 14 minutes of play, Hachimura has 15 points on 4-of-5 shooting, including 2-of-2 from three, and a highlight-reel of an assist.
