The Dallas Cowboys pulled a slew of antics leading into Sunday’s NFC East clash against the Washington Football Team. Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy guaranteed a win. Owner Jerry Jones talked about the Cowboys getting most of their fan support from Washington.
But, Sunday’s stunt of bringing in their own sideline benches to FedEx Field may have taken the cake. It had social media buzzing.Ā
On Monday, Washington head coach Ron Rivera downplayed the Cowboys antics as being important.
However, WUSA-9’s Darren Haynes asked Rivera, “So does that mean you’re not bringing your own benches to Dallas?”
Rivera replied, “I didn’t say that.”
Washington plays the Cowboys in Week 16 in the rematch at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Washington will be looking to avenge their 27-20 loss. We’ll have to wait and see if Washington takes a page out of the Cowboys’ book with their share of antics.
