Monday provided a spirited practice for the Washington Football Team, highlighted by a perfect trifecta from quarterback Dwayne Haskins and wide receiver Terry McLaurin.
Haskins tossed a beautiful throw down the left sidelines. McLaurin got a step on cornerback Greg Stroman before getting tangled. Still, McLaurin was able to track down the ball making a tough catch while falling down for the touchdown.
McLaurin’s catch brought on immediate hysteria from the offense. The wideout got up, punted the ball and ripped off his helmet in excitement. The reaction added to the execution of the play.
Haskins and McLaurin continue to show their rapport with each other that started while the two were at Ohio State. The two paired up in workouts this off-season, and its evident throughout training camp. Hopefully, this is a small glimpse of things to come between the two for the Washington Football Team.
