Full Washington Wizards 2023-24 regular season schedule

The Washington Wizards announced its 2023-24 regular season schedule on Thursday. The Wizards open the season at the Indiana Pacers on Oct. 25. Washington’s home opener will be on Oct. 28 against the Memphis Grizzlies, without its suspended star point guard Ja Morant.

Washington also will participate in the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament. The Wizards will play four consecutive Fridays in November against its Group B opponents. They’ll face the Miami Heat (Nov. 3) and Milwaukee Bucks (Nov. 24) on the road. Then they will host the Charlotte Hornets (Nov. 10) and the New York Knicks (Nov. 17).

The schedule currently consists of 80 games. The final two games will get decided by standings in Group play of the NBA’s In-Season Tournament. The knockout stage games will be between Dec. 4-9.

Bradley Beal is now with the Phoenix Suns. His first game against the Wizards is on Dec. 17 in Phoenix. His return to Washington as a visiting player will be on Feb. 4 during a Sunday afternoon game.

Newly acquired Washington Wizards player Jordan Poole gets his first crack at his former team, the Golden State Warriors, on Dec. 22 in San Francisco. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN. It’s the Wizards’ lone national game on a major network.

The Washington Wizards close the regular season with 11 of its final 15 games at home. However, three of its last four games are on the road. The season concludes on Apr. 14 in Boston.
